Half Day Fluke PM Capt Ant reports ”Fluking” ON FIRE ! on the pm trip. from start to finish it was tea bag central with dangling flatties all around the boat. Paul Kerisli had 4 keepers to 3.5lbs Jerry had 3, Jade had the largest at 5.5lbs but wasn’t in the pool. The pool winner was John Jacobsen from NorthPort, NY with a 4.75lbs Half Day Fluke AM Capt Ant reports an AWESOME am Fluke trip, Fishing started off hot with the majority of fluke being keepers. Sunday June 22

Night Striped Bass Captain Ant reports signs of normality on the Bass front. No weed, birds working and fish busting. We jigged a few, then unfortunately we lost the tide. On the switchover we nailed a few beauties to 28lbs. The pool winner was Fengyi Tian of Flushing, NY. John Stella had 3 keepers (orl) and dropped a 4that the boat, his largest being 26lbs. Fishing was much better than Fri and Sat. Half Day Am Fluke Captain Ant reports an all out fluke slam! Customers had buckets of fluke by the end of the trip. Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports slow night bassing fish & bait were stacked. They  just wouldn’t bite. Its when we didn’t  mark ’em, we’d pick a few. The pool winner was John Farrel from kings Park, NY with a 25lb Johnny ‘Jesus of the elbow” had a 22lber and Steven Bento the poolman had a 18lber. Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports a frustrating night of bassing. We started the night picking and then the weed moved in and shut it down. Every spot we hit had weed but we managed a few. Bridge Hampton Doug took the pool with a 28lber and Steve “Pool Man” Bento took 2nd with a 23lber. Steve also limited out. Montauk Jumbo Porgies Capt Dave reports an EXCELLENT day on the porgy grounds non stop action all morning long even with the morning showers the sea conditions were perfectly calm all day long we had porgies up to 4lb and even half a dozen fluke in the mix. Wednesday June 18

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Capt Dave reports a decent day today in Montauk, NY. The morning bite was good, pulling up nice quality porgies up to about 4lbs. The afternoon was a little tougher with the different tide, but we still managed nice big fish coming over the rails. Most people aboard had their limit or close to it, and we also had some fluke in the mix.

Sunday June 15

Night Striped Bass Attention Bass Assassins! Capt Ant reports a phenomenal Father’s Day excursion with behemoth size bass slamming on the deck of the Viking Star. We jigged up a couple early and lost a giant as well. At sunset, we switched to the snakes and it was game on! Just like Saturday night, we’d get a couple hook ups a drift, but they were solid size bass. After 4 drifts, Danny Wes had 3 keepers to 30lbs, but he was saving the best for last. A mammoth 44.22lb bass! Little did Danny know, Chris “Cool Hand” Luke also hooked up and the two competitive friends waited until the return for the official weigh in. Saturday June 14

Full Moon Night Bass Capt Ant reports am awesome full moon bass trip. It was a steady bite most of the night with a few beauties coming aboard that needed to pay the extra baggage fee!  Brian Finnegan led the way with the first moo cow of the season at 30.9lbs. He also had a 27, a 25 and a 24 orl. We had a few with their limit as well. They’re here in numbers folks, we are sailing Sunday at 530p to do it again!!! Friday June 13

New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day we had some smaller porgies in the mix  but everyone limited out on porgies we had sea Bass up to 5lbs. The Pool winner was Nina Tran from Hartford, CT with a 3.5 lb Montauk Cherry Harbor Porgies Captain Ant reports another slay job in the shallows with limits all around the boat. Not much more to say. Saturday Cherry Harbor is sold out. The pool winner is Geliang Ye from Manhattan with a 4lb. We will be sailing next for this trip on Sunday June 15th and Monday June 16th. Thursday June 12

Montauk Cherry Harbor Porgies Capt Ant reports another fantastic day picking sweet cherry porgys from shallow grounds. Once again we had a great bite to start the day with a mix of sizes. We sat thru the slack with a very slow puck but once the tide turned it was game on with more jumbos in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Johnny Washington of Freeport with a 2.8lb porgy.
