Sat June 10 – Montauk Spring Porgies
Capt Dave reports a fairly slow pick today on the Viking Star. Conditions were great most of the day and we managed to pick away at some large and jumbo sized scup and even a few blue fish. The first place pool winner went to Alverez Possidino from Kearney, NJ with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Robert Moore from Wading River with a 6lb Blue fish. We will be sailing again at 5am tomorrow on our Montauk Spring Porgies.
Sat June 10 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt J.R. reports a productive trip this morning on the Viking Starlite. There was a vast improvement in the fluking with fluke coming up in all the areas we fished. Keepers and shorts all around the boat. We also found some delicious porgies and a few sea bass that were gently released. Definitely a big improvement all around. The pool winner went to Joseph Dizeo from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.2 lb Fluke.

Capt Dave reports a very good day on the Viking Starlite. It was a good start with a lull in the middle. We moved around a bit and the last spot turned out very good with all large and jumbo Porgies.
