Sat May 22 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt JR reports a great trip this morning on the Viking Star, our best trip to date. We explored some new grounds and it payed off. Lots of action all morning long. Some real nice Fluke were in the mix. The pool winner was Spence Bennett from Lindenhurst, NY with a 4.5 lb Fluke.
Fri May 21 – 1/2 Day Charter – Montauk School
Capt JR reports that the 8th grade Montauk school charter was a lot of fun on the Viking Star. We picked at Fluke the whole trip and had keepers in most of the areas we fished. All around a good trip.
Fri May 21 – Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a tough day on the Viking Starlite. It was a very picky bite. They bit, but not well. Those that figured it out did okay. We had a mixed size of Porgies with mostly mediums and large and a couple of jumbos. There were also a couple of Weakfish and Bluefish. The pool winner was Benny from Queens with a 3 lb Porgy.

Wed May 19 – Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starlite. We had a lot of action, but had to move around to find the bigger fish. We found a steady pick of Large Porgies and had a 1/2 dozen weakfish. There were also a bunch of SeaBass that were released unharmed. The pool winner was Cornell Williams from Fresh Meadows, NY with a 2.5 lb Porgy. Mon May 17 – Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starlite. It was a slow start, but patience and chum made for a steady pick of Jumbo Porgies. They were the best size we have seen all season! Everybody had close to or their limit of Porgies. Jorge Rodriguez from the Bronx was the pool winner with a 3 1/4 Jumbo Porgy. The trip for tomorrow May 18th is cancelled.
