Today, Saturday May 5th, Captain Dave took out the Viking Star on an early morning porgy trip. He reports that first they tried the close spot without much success, and after which they took a ride into the bay. This new spot produced a slow, steady pick of mostly nice sized porgies, but not quite as fast and furious as yesterday. But for the fishermen that could figure out the light bite, did manage a very good catch. 🐟 Split Pool Winners: Looks like we have tie! Frankie Marin, from Brooklyn, New York, and Ray McKenzie, also from Brooklyn, New York each caught a 3lb porgy. The season is just beginning, the weather is good, and the fishing is quickly getting better. We will be sailing DAILY @ 4am, our office opens at 3am for ticket sales or…
