Schedule Update- Our next scheduled date to sail on the Block Island Winter Cod Trip is Saturday Feb 3. The trips for  Wed 31, Thur 1 and Fri 2 are cancelled due to bad weather. 

Block Island Winter Cod – Viking Superstar Capt Carl reports a struggle on the cod grounds today. We started off anchored up right where we have been seeing good fishing, but the Cod did not cooperate at all. From there we searched around only to find a couple keepers. Hopefully after the moon passes, the cod will begin to chew again. Long time Viking regular Bruce Wahl from Greenport, NY took the pool with a 12 lb cod. We are sailing on our Block Island Winter Cod Trips everyday at the new time of 3am  (weather dependent). All looks good for Thur Jan 25 and Friday Jan 26 and we are definitely sailing on both of these days.  The trip will return to the dock around 3pm and the fare is $125.00. Capt.
