Sat July 11 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass
Capt. Dave reports excellent, excellent Porgy fishing all morning! We had a mix of Jumbos, medium size fish, and a couple shorts that had to be thrown back. Captain JR reports an ok pick onboard the Viking Star this morning. Things were a bit slow during slack tide, but improved a lot when the current started running. An assortment of porgies, sea bass, and a few fluke came up with everyone getting some fish for dinner.
