Our office will be closed after 5pm today and we will reopen on Friday, March 1. If you need to contact us send an email to [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Any of our scheduled trips can be booked online at vikingfleet.com

Thurs Jan 31

Schedule Update: Unfortunately we are CANCELLED tomorrow Friday, February 1st due to the weather. We are still trying to get out on Saturday and Sunday on the 140′ Viking Starship, with a full galley and heated cabin. The weather is looking good both days. Sunday is looking really good with the wind only 5 to 10. We are looking to get back out there and find the Cod! Hopefully after this cold snap they will be ready to bite! We will make sure we are back in by 4pm on Sunday,  so you can get home in time for the Super Bowl! Reservations are required!! Please call the office to book or book online at vikingfleet.com. 631-668-5700 between 8am and 5pm daily.

Thurs Jan 24

Schedule Update Unfortunately the Winter Cod trips are cancelled for Friday Jan 25th and Sunday Jan 27th. Once again, this Saturday January 26 looks like our best weather day to get out this weekend! Capt. Steven Sr will be running the 140′  Viking Starship hunting for Cod, Haddock, Pollack, Ling, and any other bottom dwellers. Last weekend, he marked lots of life on the bottom, but between the warm water and Super Blood Wolf Moon, nothing seemed to want to bite. We are hoping everything is hungry again and we can’t wait to go give it another shot! The trip sails at 4AM and returns at 4PM and the fare is $125. The Viking Starship has a heated cabin, full galley service, and we have plenty of fresh clams and chum! Call (631) 668-5700 to reserve, or book online at…

Tue Jan22

Schedule Update: We will continue to sail this weekend and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through February. We are hoping that after this super cold snap and Blood Wolf Moon that all the life we have been seeing on the bottom will start to chew! Join us on the 140′ heated Viking Starship with a full galley and fresh clams for bait! Reservations required this time of year!!

Mon Jan 21

The office is closed today, Monday Jan 21st and will reopen at 8am tomorrow.

Sat Jan 19

Block Island Winter Cod Capt Steven Sr reports a very weird day on the Viking Starship. We had a handful of keeper Cod along with some shorts and a few Bergalls. It was a tough bite maybe because of the east wind, strong tide or “Super Blood Moon”! It looked like there was a lot of life, but it was disappointing! Bruno Vulin won both pools with a 5lb and 7lb Cod.

Fri Jan 18

There is a full galley onboard for hot and cold food and beverages! The office will open at 3am for ticket sales. You can book over the phone until 5pm and book 24 hours at vikingfleet.com

Sat Jan 13

Block Island Winter Cod -Saturday Capt Steven Sr reports that Saturday’s trip was a grind. The wind didn’t stop until the end of the day. The wind and cold made it tough, but we did manage a few Cod and a decent shot of Haddock. We did see Ling, Eel’s, Whiting, and Mackerel. Lots of Bites. We also saw lots of Porgies and SeaBass, but they are closed, so they all went back. It was a grind, but the water temperature is still warm, once it cools down things will change for the better. Thanks to everyone on board for the effort. The pool winners were Soojin Park from Great Neck, NY, and Kyle Jones from Brooklyn, NY.
