Capt Steven Sr. reports a slower morning on the Viking Star. We had a couple of keeper Fluke and a handful of throw back Striped Bass. There was no pool. The next trips will be Saturday May 13 & Sunday May 14.
Sat May 6 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Capt Steven Sr. reports a slow afternoon on the Viking Star. We didn’t get anything going other than a few shorts and Sea Bass that were returned unharmed! Schedule Update
We are definitely sailing tomorrow Friday May 5 at 6am on our Sag Harbor Scup Express Trip. This trip which departs from Sag Harbor Village Marina (at the end of long Wharf ) sails at 6am and returns at 12 noon. The fare is 110 and tickets can be booked online @vikingfleet.com or purchased onboard in the morning! The weather looks great for the next few days so we will be sailing everyday! The Block Island Mixed Bag trip is CANCELLED for Saturday, December 31. Captain Dave and crew would like to thank everyone who came out and fished with us this year and we look forward to seeing you when the Porgy trips start up in the spring! Thurs Dec 22 – Block Island Mixed Bag
Capt Dave reports a slow day on the Viking Starship. We had good fishing on an offshore deep wreck with Porgies, Sea Bass and Cod, but the inshore fishing was not that productive. We are cancelled tomorrow due to weather and our final trips of the year will be next week Tuesday, December 27th through Saturday, December 31st for Block Island Mixed Bag on the Viking Starship. We also have a Coxes Ledge Cod & Sea Bass trip on Thursday, December 29th on the Viking Star. The office will be closed Saturday, December 24th to Monday, December 26th. We will open at 4am on Tuesday, December 27th for check in and ticket sales.
