Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports that it is PORGY TIME! We had a very good day today, lots of porgies, mixed in size but mostly on the larger side. We also had some really nice sea bass up to 6lbs in the mix, along with about 10 keeper cod and some blues too. Today’s first place pool winner was Lou Diamantopoulos of Mastic Beach with a nice 4lb porgy, and in second was Patrick Bartlett of Brooklyn with a 10lb cod.
