Jig & Eel Night Bass Trip
Captain Ant reports an Easterly blow+ ebb tide created very slow drifting conditions and a very slow bass bite. We had Atrophy at 46.6lbs caught by Wei Huang, from Centereach, NY Second Place Andrew Baranowski from Lindenhurst, NY with a 28.8
Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Carl reports another SLAMMER day on the Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass boat. All day we picked away at quality flukes and jumbo sea bass! Both species were chewing like crazy! We had a sold out crowd and we were just a few fluke shy of a boat limit as well! Tommy A. had 10 keeper fluke (ORL) and 18 keeper sea bass (ORL). There were many quality fluke in the 4-6lb range, just no giant ones. Sea bass was the same, lots of 3-3.5 lb JUMBOS! A great day had by all. The first place pool winner was Dominic Iocco of Astoria, NY with a nice 7.1lb fluke, and in second place was Robin Correia of NYC with a 3.9lb sea bass.
Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Steven Sr reports a good afternoon of fluke fishing. It wasn’t as insane as it was this morning, but everyone went home with big bags of filets. We had a mix of fluke, porgies and sea bass. This afternoons first place pool winner was Bruno Givotoushy of NYC with a 5lb fluke, and in second place was Shawn Singh of Brooklyn with a 4.5lb fluke.
Montauk Local Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a very good day of fishing today. We had a mix of porgies, some really nice sea bass, some fluke and a striped bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Kevin Lou of Bay Ridge Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Fernando Flors of Brooklyn with a 15lb striped bass.
Half Day Fluke AMCaptain Steven Sr reports an excellent morning of fishing! We had fluke, sea bass and porgies coming over the rails from the first to the last drop. Everyone had buckets of fish! It was a super morning and everyone went home with big bags of fish for their BBQ’s tonight. Pool winners to follow.
