Night Striped Bass Midnight Moo Cow Madness
On the Midnight trip we went back to the same grounds to see if the fish we marked were hungry.  They were thankfully but still not very aggressive as we picked our way through the night and morning.  Overall a good trip. A few guys had their limit and most had 1 for the table.  We also had a slew of blues and sea bass who were hungry enough to inhale the eels. First place pool winner was Matthew Sheehy of Moriches with a 33.75lb striped bass, and in second was Michael Collins of Sayville with a 32.35lb striped bass.   Here are some pix with the gorgeous sun rising as we head west:

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Stephan Francis reports the morning trip had a lot of beautiful sea bass with some jumbo porgies mixed in. Fluking was a little slow, but still managed a couple nice keepers up to 6lbs! Todays pool winner was Carol Miller of Oyster Bay with a 6lb fluke.

Montauk Local Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. It started out slow and we had to search around a bit, but when we found them and were able to put a decent catch together. We had some really nice sized fish today, both porgies and sea bass. There were also a handful of nice keeper fluke. Today’s first place pool winner was Jangsung Choi of the Bronx with a 3.5lb porgy and in second place was Jude Regis of Brooklyn with a nice big 4.5lb sea bass.
