Night Striped Bass Eel Trip
Capt Ant reports a Bass Crush last night. It took a bit to get going but when it did we hammered out 5-7 a drift. Mostly market size fish with a scattering of high 20s and low 30lbers. Jack Miov from Brighton Beach via the Ukraine took 2nd with a 31lber. First place was a 32.

We are sailing promptly at 530p this evening and expect the same conditions as we are bailing fish on our am jig trip at the moment!!!

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a bit of a slower day today. Although it was slow, we had the best quality fish that we have seen yet this year coming over the rails. Each fish that came up was BIG BIG. We also had about 15 keeper cod. Today’s first place pool winner was Tonya Gillian of the Bronx with a nice JUMBO 4.5lb porgy and in second was Kirk Roberts of the Bronx with a 12.75lb cod.

Fall Half Day Bass and Blues AM

Capt Ant reports a solid am jig trip this morning. We had the Montauk grand slam. Bass, Blues and Bonito!!!  It wasn’t a slam but we had fish in practically every drift including some giant scup to add to the buffet. Pool winner was Joe Fulcoly from Calverton and 2nd place was Bob Chaputin from sea cliff nj.   Bob also had his limit of bass and a 10 lb bonito
