Sunset Jigging Striper Trip
Captain Stephen Francis reports a slow start to the evening since there was no tide when they got to the grounds. Without the tide they still caught a bunch of porgies and a few blue fish. About half way through the trip they started getting the flood tide and were greeted with some jumbo stripers! It was a fun and action packed trip!!

1/2 Day Fluke-AM
Captain Dave G reports a nice morning of fishing on the Viking Star. They landed fluke, porgies, and sea bass (returned unharmed). The pool winner was 12 year old Zane Shgbir of Selden, NY with a 4.5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports that porgy fishing started off good we had plenty of porgies coming over the rails. We also had fluke and blue fish in the mix. Then wind and tide picked up and fishing slowed up but when it was good it was very good. The pool winner was Mr Gary Sciacca with a 3lbs Porgy.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a steady pick this afternoon of fluke, porgies and seabass (all returned unharmed) despite Slack tide during the first part of the afternoon. There were some nice keepers in the mix. The pool winner was Amahya Yannacone from Montauk, NY with a 5.1 lb fluke.
