Sunset Jigging Striper Trip – July 6th
Captain Stephen Francis reports a slow night of jigging bass last night, but there was action at the end of the ebb with some angry blue fish! There were some scup caught while there was no tide. When the flood started there were some bass caught. The pool winner was Guy Levy from Hampton Bays, NY.

1/2 Day-AM
Captain Dave G reports a nice morning on the Viking Star in foggy conditions. There was a very nice pick of fluke on the first part of the tide. The pool was a tie with winners Jordan Colflesh from Little Neck, NY and Tom Ryan from Bellmore, NY both catching 3.6 pounders!

1/2 Day-PM
Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon of fluking, with a lot of action all throughout the trip. There were many fluke, along with porgies, and sea bass (released unharmed). The pool winner was Kayla Jorde from Mahopac, NY with a 6lb fluke.
