Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl is happy to report that the Block Island Behemoth trip lived up to it’s name last night! There are not as many fish as there are in Montauk just yet, but every single one caught was an XXL model, with the smallest fish of the trip just shy of 30lbs. The two biggest weighed in at 47lbs and 49lbs! All the others were in the 30-40lb class. Any day now, the behemoth grounds will break wide open with them! Chris Luke took the pool once again with the 49lb striped bass.

1/2 Day-AM
Captain Stephen Francis reports good fishing at the end of the ebb tide on this mornings trip. They were getting a couple of keepers per drift, when they lost the tide they caught a few shorts. Towards the end of the trip they caught the beginning of the flood and had a few more shorts and keepers. The pool winner was Jim Saladino from Wading River with a 4.5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports that it was a little slow in the beginning today. After looking around we found a very good spot with great action. The fish were a little bit on the smaller side today. We had some nice seabass that were all released unharmed. The pool winner was Steve Bento from Franklin Square with a JUMBO 3.9 lb porgy.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Captain Stephen Francis reports a slow day of fishing today nut we still managed to get a nice handful of keepers. There was a lot of action with small fish. A lot of seabass were caught and all were release3d unharmed. We had a  handful of keeper porgies as well. The pool winner was Daniel Colflesh from Little Neck with a 5lb Fluke. The second place pool winner was Steve Bento with a 4.3 lb Fluke.
