Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports another fantastic night bass fishing on the Viking Starship! We fished Block for the entire ebb tide and had fish every drift to 43lbs! Once we lost the tide , we shot back to Montauk for the beginning of the flood tide and caught very well. We filled our full boat limit of GIANT MOO COW LINESIDERS!! Jay Weber from Ridge, NY took the top honors with a 43.5lb behemoth, barely edging out another 42.5 pounder!

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joey D reports an excellent afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper! We had non stop action all afternoon- it was a great combination of wonderful weather and awesome fishing. Freddy “Motor” Shea had a nice fluke over 6lbs and Andrea from Montauk Shores had a nice keeper at about 4 lbs. Today’s pool winner was Robert Jones of Irvington NJ with a nice 6.1lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports a slow start this morning with rough conditions. Later in the morning the weather got better and we had excellent fishing. There were a couple of fluke in the mix, but it was mostly porgies. The pool winner was Rei Waldo Varrez from NYC with a 3.5lb porgy.

Captain Joe D reports a good morning fishing with a lot of action.There were porgies and sea bass(returned unharmed) in the mix as well. The pool winner was Stella Kim from Manhasset, NY with a 4.62lb fluke.
