Thursday July 16th

Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports that the Night Striped Bass trip saw a slow down on the local bite. They seemed to be off the feed, but we did still manage a fair amount of keepers and all at trophy sizes! Among the catch, we had a 38.2 pounder, a 39.4 pounder and Gavan Daly of Maspeth Queens took the pool with a 41.4lb trophy striped bass. We also had some beautiful weather! Thank you everyone for coming out!

Half Day Fluke PM Fluke Fishing
Captain Joe D reports a good evening on the fluke grounds we had lots of action and a few keeper fluke along with  some sea bass and scup in the mix. The pool winner Mr Steve Leonard from Hicksville, NY with a 2.9lb Fluke.

Half Day AM Fluke Fishing
Captain Joe D reports tough conditions with wind against tide so fishing was slow but did manage to catch a few keeper fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports despite the weather condition early this morning on our  first drop we found the meat porgies were coming over the rails after we got our fill of Scup we headed out to find some nice market size Sea Bass an we go them good. The pool winner  was Isaiah Slaughter from Brooklyn, NY with a 3lb Porgy. The Edible pool went to Wayne Mata from East Hampton, NY with a 5lb Sea Bass
