Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a good day aboard the Viking Starship today. It started out a bit slow, with the wind and tide moving fast, but once the conditions were right, we really hit them! We had a nice mix of porgies and sea bass and it made for a nice end of the day. Today’s first and second place pool winner was Felix Carvenas of Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy and a 5lb sea bass.

1/2 Day AM
Captain Carl reports an absolutely fantastic morning half day trip. The weather was perfect and fishing was awesome too! We filled up the buckets with many many keeper fluke, a lot of jumbo sea bass and quite a few large porgies! Everyone had a nice bag of fresh fish to take home. Nine year old Hunter Roberts from Cornwall, NY won the 1st place pool with a 5lb 5oz fluke and his father Dennis Roberts took second place with a 5lb 3oz fattie! Congratulations Robert’s family!!!

1/2 Day PM
Captain Carl reports a repeat of the morning with a lot of sea bass. The pool winner was Matt Staropoli from Nanuet, NY with a 4lb fluke.
