The first place pool winner was Yuanyong Xu of flushing with a nice 42.2lb striped bass and in second place was Scott Goldman of Bayside with a 38.7lb striped bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports very good fishing all morning aboard the Viking Starship. We had our fill of porgies first thing, which gave us time to search for the sea bass. We found the sea bass and everyone had their limit of both sea bass and porgies. We also had some keeper fluke in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Julia Hutchinson of Greensboro, NC with a 3lb porgy.

1/2 Day AM
Captain Dave G reports a great morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. There was a good bite of keeper fluke, nice size sea bass and porgies all morning! The pool winner was Michael Nagel from Mahopac, NY with a 6.7lb fluke.

Half Day PM
Captain Steven Jr reports an excellent afternoon of fishing. There was a slow period during slack tide but other than that we had great action! We had a good mess of keeper fluke and sea bass with a couple scup mixed in. Fun was had by all! The pool winner was Gianni Giorgini from West Islip with a 5 lb Fluke.  The second place pool winner was Levi Weisser from Great Neck, NY with a 3.5 lb Fluke.
