Night Striped Bass Full Moon Special
Captain Carl reports that the Full Moon Blue Moon Block Island Behemoth trip lived up to the hype! We had steady fishing all night, even through slack tide, with most all the striped bass being XXL sized! We weighed a dozen fish over 44lbs! Gary “Big Fish” Young did it again, winning the pool with a 50lb 3oz behemoth! Richie Retzlaff from the Bronx took the second place pool with a 48lb 10oz moo cow, barley edging out another 48lb 6oz huge bass! Congrats everyone on all your trophies tonight!

Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Stephen Francis reports an awesome full day of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. We saw the BIGGEST KNOTHEAD sea bass we have seen all year! We also had a steady pick of large fluke all day and about half the boat had their fluke limit. Overall it was a great day fishing and everyone went home with massive bags of fillets. Today’s first place pool winner was Joe Pagillo of Islip with a big 7.10lb fluke and in second place was LaFarce Daguilar of Freeport with a nice 4.11lb sea bass.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joey D reports a bit of a tough afternoon with the strong full moon tide. We still managed a decent catch of fluke and sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Barney Breslin on Montauk with a nice big 7.4lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports another excellent day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship! We had a nice bunch of mixed sized porgies, sea bass, fluke and bluefish up to 15lbs. Nikki Noel from Brooklyn won the pool with a 3lb porgy.
