Full Day Fluke
Captain Stephen D reports a good day aboard the Viking Stariper. It was extremely windy first thing this morning so we had to stay close. We had a bunch of shorts and a few keepers. Once the wind died down we went off shore and got on a slow steady pick of jumbo fluke and sea bass. The first place fluke pool winner with a 5 pounder was Miroslaw Szydlowski from Manhattan, NY. The first place sea bass pool winner was Kenny Bachan from Elizabeth, NJ.

Captain Carl reports a slower night of fishing. We had some action once the sun went down. We caught mostly bluefish and smaller striped bass, with some shorts and a couple of keepers. We also had a keeper fluke. A smaller sized group of fish showed up, so the first place pool winner was Rodrigo Restrepo from Columbia with an 18lb striped bass. The second place pool winner was Mike Nelson from Queens, NY with a 12lb bass.
