Wednesday August 12th

Block Island Behemoth Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a slow but steady night of fishing at Block Island. Every fish we had, besides one, was a real Behemoth Moo Cow! George Jehn nailed a 40 pounder, and his nephew Richy landed his biggest bass ever at 38lbs! We also had another 42.4 pounder and Kelvin Sakhichand of Queens, NY took the pool with a 49 pound Behemoth Bass!

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon of half day fishing. There were plenty of keeper fluke sea bass and porgies. The pool winner was Chad Cardillo, from Hauppauge, NY with a 3lb

Full Day Jumbo Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Stephen D reports due to the ground  swells this morning from yesterday storm made for some tough fishing. It  was just slow we did manage a few keeper Fluke along with some scup and sea bass. The Fluke Pool was Tied between  Mr Jon Flousche From Massapequa Park, NY and Mr Glenn Haywood from Peek skill, NY with a 4.3lbs  Edible Pool Sea Bass  Mr Jorge Naula from Brooklyn, NY with a 3lb.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a bit of a slower day today aboard the Viking Starship. It was a slow start, with not such ideal conditions, but towards the end of the morning we made one drop and put together a decent catch of nice sized porgies and each person had a handful of sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Ian Ralph with a 3lb porgy.

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Carl reports a good morning on the fluke grounds we had plenty of action all morning long with some nice fluke some scup and sea bass in the mix. The Pool winner was Sam Lockwood from  New Jersey with a 5lbs Fluke second place went to Anthony Altimari from Yorktown Heights, NY with a 4.5lbs Fluke.
