Tuesday August 18th

Full Day Jumbo Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Carl reports an overall good day on the full day boat. We found some nice fluke to pick away at all day, some drifts were better than others, but a few folks had their fluke limits. Everyone had a bunch of sea bass as always. It was a good day. Today’s first place pool winner was Gary Spence of Delaware with a nice 6.16lb fluke and in second place was Luke Williams of Stanford CT with a 3lb sea bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. The early morning bite was very good with big fish. They switched over to sea bass and they caught fish up to 4lbs. There were also a couple of fluke in the mix. The pool winner was Thomas Deliopoulous from Philadelphia, PA with a 3.8lb porgy.

Half Day AM
Captain Dave G reports a great morning of fishing on the Viking Star. There were plenty of sea bass, porgies and nice fluke with lots of fish on each drift. The pool winner was Angelo Demetroulakos from Brooklyn, NY with a 4lb fluke.

Half Day PM
Captain Dave G reports a great afternoon of fishing with a lot of sea bass, fluke and porgies. The pool winner was 6 year old Justin Ufko from Smithtown, NY with a 5.2lb fluke.
