1/2 Day Fluke AM
Captain Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We started off catching some nice size porgies with some keeper fluke mixed in. Then the breezes picked up and the bite slowed a bit, but overall it was a good trip. The pool winner was Terri Coleman with a 4lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies and Seabass
Captain Dave M reports a good day of fishing even with the big crowd and strong winds. There was lots of fluke and everyone came off with full coolers. There was some blue fish in the mix too and the second place in the pool was won with a 12 lb Striper caught by Ganesh Boywah. Our pool winner was Christine Moye from Englewood NJ with a huge 4lb Porgy.

The Wong Charter for Porgy and Seabass
Captain Sarah reports a great day of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. They started the day drifting around the lighthouse with a fast drift catching some good sized porgies. They then headed towards the beach where they anchored up and and filled the coolers with porgies. Everyone went home happy and with their limits reached.
Congratulations to Captain Sarah on her maiden voyage!

Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a GREAT night of fishing on the Viking Starship! We started off jigging and it was non stop action with everyone on board catching a bunch of bluefish, a couple keeper Striped Bass, and some short bass as well that were released! It was epic fishing with birds and bait and fish busting all over the place! Once it got dark, things slowed down for a bit until the tide changed and once it did, we picked away at some quality size Stripers using our live bait rigs and live eels. Tacuri Manuel from Montauk, NY took the pool with a beautiful 32 lb Striped Bass!
