Half Day PM
Captain Joey D reports alright fishing this afternoon. The conditions were more “rock n’ roll than “lock n’ load! We had a mix of fluke, porgies and sea bass. Everyone went home happy. The first place pool winner was Mark Melton from NYC with a 6.5lb bass. The second place pool winner was Mike Christy from Burnt Hills, NY with a 6.4lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a GREAT night of bass fishing on the Viking Starship! The first half of the night started off slow and rough with wind against tide, with just one bass on the jig. Finally, the tide turned and the wind eased off and we had the Moo Cow Linesider Striped Bass start biting really good! There were multiple big fish each drift brought on. We were just a few shy of our boat limit. It was fantastic! Gary “Big Fish” Young took first place with a 44.2lb Moo Cow Striper and Kleven Saramiento took second place with a majestic 42.8lb striped bass.
