Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a pretty good night of Bass Fishing on the Viking Star. It took a while for the tide and conditions to get right, and once they did the big Stripers started biting! We caught well for about an hour with many quality moo cows coming over the rails until they shut down again. Gary Jensen took the first place pool with a 39 pounder, and Mikey Nelson took second with a 37.7 pounder!

Half Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. There was a beautiful breeze and a nice drift. We had lots of fluke, with plenty of keepers to go around. Today’s first place pool winner was Robert Silvestro of Smithtown with a 5.2lb fluke and in second place was Brian Clancy, also of Smithtown, with 4.8lb fluke. Also an honorable mention goes out to Nicole Acocella of New Rochelle with a nice 7lb fluke! She would have taken the pool, but due to her lack of faith in her own fishing skills, she did not enter the pool. Next time Nicole!

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Seabass
Captain Dave M reports a tough day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was a big crowd as well as conditions being tough. There was a strong tide and it was a little windy. Despite this there was a good catch with plenty of Porgies and Seabass. Our first place winner was Andrzej Zukowski from Maspeh New York with a nice 4.5lb Porgy. Second place went to Almir Batista from Kearney New Jersey whose Seabass came in at 5lbs.

Full Day Fluke & Seabass
Captain Sarah reported a mixed day of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. The fluke wwere quite elusive for us today though we did end up with some nice sized ones. The Seabass on the other hand were hungry and biting, we had our boat limit of big sized Sea bass. We also caught some Porgies and Blue. All in all not a bad day! Pool winner to follow.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Capt Dave G Dave G reports a great afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had a nice drift in the breeze. There were plenty of nice size fluke all around the boat. We also caught nice sea bass and porgies. The pool winner was Christos Farantatos from Croten on Hudson with a 4.1lb Fluke.
