Half Day Fluke PM
Capt Dave G reports a nice afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had a mixed bag of sea bass, fluke and porgies. The pool winner was Pat Carroll from Freeport, NY with a 5.5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a slower day than normal for porgy fishing. They had a good shot of fishing right in the morning and then it slowed down as the tide got stronger. It did get better at the end of the day with nice good quality fish. We had porgies, everyone had nice big sea bass and we had a couple fluke. Today’s first place pool winner was Ramon Antonelli of Brooklyn with a 4lb porgy and in second place was Raui Hardial of Brooklyn with a 5lb fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a nice morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had beautiful conditions and a nice drift. There were keeper fluke, sea bass and porgies throughout the boat. The first place pool winner was Chris Bruckner from Massapegua Park, NY with a big 6.7lb Fluke. Second place went to Kyle Begis also from Massapequa with a 5.2lb Fluke.

Sunset Striped Bass
Capt Dave reports a decent night of striped bass fishing. We had keeper striped bass up to 35lbs and bluefish. Pool winner to follow.
