Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a GREAT night of Bass fishing on the Viking Starship. It took a while for the tide to start but we were marking large schools of bass, so we kept drifting until they finally turned on and then it was a couple a drift of all nice quality moo cows. We ended up just a few shy of our boat limit, and everyone went home with meat! Christos Farantatos from Croton on Hudson, NY took the pool with a 43 lb 2 oz Beast of a Striper!

Half Day Fluke PM
Capt Dave G reports a good afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had breezy conditions but still managed to put together a nice catch of keeper fluke and beautiful sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Angelo Demetroulakos of Brooklyn with a nice 8.2lb fluke and in second place was Robert Manganiello of Blavvelt NY with a 6.8 fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports another excellent day of fishing today. Despite the windy morning, we managed to put a nice catch together. We had nice sized porgies and at the end had a great shot of large sea bass. Almost everyone had their limit of sea bass up to 5lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was Dennis Crawford of the Bronx with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Jose Gil of Brooklyn with a nice big 5lb sea bass.

1/2 Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star despite the breezy conditions. We caught fluke, sea bass and porgies. The pool winner was Angelo Demetroulakos from Brooklyn with a 7 lb. fluke.
