1/2 Day Fluke AM
Captain Joe reports a beautiful Montauk morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. Catching started off a bit slow due to to the slack tide but once the currents began we started catching real good. We had a very nice catch of Fluke, Jumbo Porgies and large Seabass. A special mention goes to young William Egan who caught his first fish ever today!  The pool was won by Lou Barton of NY with a 4.1 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Seabass
Captain Dave reports an excellent morning of Porgy fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was lots of porgies coming over the rail, lots of these were quite small but there was plenty of big fish too. There was plenty of Seabass too, weighing up to 4lbs and everyone reached their limit of Seabass. The first place pool winner was Francisco De la Cruz from Manhattan NY with a 3.5lb Porgy. Second place went to Felix Palencia  from Uniondale with a 5.5lb Fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Capt Joey D reports in spite of the tide change in the middle of the trip we had a terrific afternoon of fishing. Everybody aboard got a chance to bend a rod and catch something. Many went home with dinner. All in all a great day of Viking fishing. The pool winner was Rob Cole from Niskayuna, NY with a 4lb fluke.

36 Hour Tuna- Viking Fivestar
Capt Steven Sr reports that we ended up putting a decent trip together considering how tuna fishing has been way off. We covered a lot of ocean and only found 1 yellow fin. We did however find a nice mixed bag of pelagics. We ended up with 25 BIG mahi with a few around 20lbs, 3 nice wahoo and 9 fat little pup swordfish. So despite the slow tuna bite everyone ended up going home with a variety of excellent fish.
