2 Night Tuna – Viking Star – Sat Oct 1 to Mon Oct 3
Capt Jerry reports that tuna fishing has gotten better! The weather heading out was rough, but it laid down the first night. Fishing was slow the first night and second day, but the second night was good with a lot of bites. In total we had 17 yellowfin from 40 lbs to 100 lbs, 10 albies, 40 mahi mahi, 1 mako and two short swordfish. We also lost some fish. The first place pool winner was David Yellen from Brooklyn with a 70 lb yellowfin. The second place pool winner was Bob Gregson from Newtown, Ct with a 100 lb mako.

Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. Our first drop was inshore and we had nice big porgies and sea bass. We then headed offshore and caught a mixed size of porgies ranging from big to small along with 25 cod. The first place pool winner was Jack Ng from Queens, NY with a 3 1/2 lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Alex Smith from New Rochelle, NY with a 17 lb cod.

Capt Sarah reports a fantastic trip today with the East Hampton High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team! The sea bass were chewing and the ladies had an amazing time filling up their buckets with fish. We also caught some large sized porgies. A beautiful day out on the water.
