Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports very good fishing today on the Viking Starship.  Lots of porgies and sea bass were caught.  A handful of cod and couple bluefish were landed.  We picked through the dogfish and were able to put together a good catch.  The pool winner today was Wah D of Brooklyn, NY with a 3lb porgy.  The edible pool winner was Pete Carroll of Staten Island, NY with a 15lb bluefish.

Capt Steven Sr reports a fine day of fishing aboard the Viking Star.  The cod bite was slow and the dogfish were ferocious in deep water today.  We moved away from the dogfish and caught jumbo sea bass and porgies.  It was overall a phenomenal day of bottom fishing.  Today’s pool winner was James Dalfssio of East Rockaway, NY with a 10.9lb cod.  Today’s edible pool winner was Dominick Frisina of Island Park, NY with a 6.5lb sea bass.
