Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a solid night of bass fishing on the Viking Star. We had steady and consistent action all night until the last drift when the tide slacked off. Early on, we caught some nice bass on the jigs, as well as a few bluefish. The bite remained good in the dark when we switched to live eels and we saw many quality fish taken in the 20-35 lbsĀ class. Nate Berry from Rockville Center, NY took the pool with a 40.3 pound striped bass, and Chanelle Futrell from NYC, NY took second with a 37.9lb striped bass.
