Montauk Summer Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports very very good fishing on the Viking Star. We had a beautiful day with perfect conditions. The porgies were really great quality and size. We also had a few keeper Fluke, 1 keeeper Striped Bass and a few throw backs, and a ton of nice sea bass released unharmed. Sea Bass will open on Tuesday, June 27! The first place pool winner was Louis Inga from Montauk with a 4 lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Geronimo Lema from Westchester, NY with a 3.7 lb porgy. The keeper Striped Bass was not in the pool!
