Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a fair day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had lots of action today, with more medium sized fish than we have been seeing, with some nice jumbos mixed in. Then we went on the hunt for some sea bass and we hit a nice pile of HUGE sea bass. Overall, it was a really nice mix of nice quality fish today. The first place pool winner was Kenrick Ryner of the Bronx with a nice big 3.9lb porgy and in second place was Jorge Naula of Brooklyn with a HUGE 6.3lb sea bass.
