Full Moon Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a Phenomenal Full Moon Striped Bass trip on the Viking Starship! We had a full boat crowd of anglers anxious to fish the Full Moon and they were all well rewarded with a FULL boat Limit of giant moo cow Striped Bass! Almost all the fish caught were in the 25-40 pound class, with 6 over 40lbs , 2 over 45lbs, and one Bass over 50 lbs! It was insane moo cow madness! Thanks everyone for coming out! Tom Retzlaff from Setauket, NY took the pool with a Giant 53 pound behemoth Bass! Joe Monaco from Carmel, NY took second with a 42 pounder! Florida Bob was not in the pool but he had a 49 pounder, and another angler who was not in the pool had a 48 pounder! It was incredible!
