Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had a nice shot of large to jumbo porgies all morning. We then went for some sea bass and found a nice pile mixed in with the porgies. We also had a bunch of trigger fish, mackerel and a handful of fluke. Today’s first place pool winner was Maurice Wauchope of Hempstead with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Luiz Maibudio of Brentwood with a 4.5lb sea bass.
