Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies
Capt Dave reports excellent fishing at the Lighthouse today on the Viking Stariper. Conditions were just right for drifting and we had mixed size fish from the biggest Porgies to just keepers. After the tide ran hard we headed down the beach and threw the anchor where we had a steady pick of good sized Porgies. There were also a lot of Sea Bass released unharmed, a few Bluefish and a short Striped Bass. The pool winner was Hung Lee from Brooklyn, NY with a 4 lb Porgy.
