Block Island Fall – Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports another day of excellent fishing aboard The Viking Starship. The morning started a little slow, so we headed offshore anchored up, and fishing got great. We had our limits of jumbo porgies, plenty of nice sized Sea Bass, and a handful of Cod. First place in today’s pool went to Connel Armstrong of Teaneck NJ, who caught a 4 1/2 lb porgy. Our 2nd place pool winner was Kenny from Howard Beach NY who landed a 12 Lb Cod. Don’t forget we are sailing daily at 5AM, returning at 3PM and the fare is $110.
