Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports another good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We had tough conditions with the wind, but we pretty much had a repeat of yesterday with plenty of Porgies. and mixed size SeaBass with everybody catching a few big keepers, but having to pick thru the smalls. We also had about a dozen Cod. We didn’t have a pool today. Tomorrow will be the last day of the regular Block Island Porgy & SeaBass Trip. Beginning Friday we will be running one trip daily – Block Island Mixed Bag – departing at 5am and returning at 5pm. The fare will be $125. We will be fishing for all of the bottom dwellers – Cod, SeaBass, Porgies, Haddock, Ling and whatever else we can find out there!
