1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. We had light winds to start and nice drifting conditions. We caught Fluke, Bluefish, Porgies, Sea Bass and a couple short Striped Bass. The Sea Bass were all thrown back as were the Stripers. Then the tide dropped out and the bite slowed down. All in all it was a nice morning. The first place pool winner was Frank Pontecorvo from Lindenhurst, NY with a 5.75 Fluke. The second place pool winner was 5 year old Arden Ficken from East Setauket, NY with a 4.25 lb Fluke.
