Sun August 11 Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports from the Viking Starship. We started off near the Montauk Lighthouse. We had a strong pick of medium Porgies, but wanted more. We moved down the beach and had a really good drift with a lot of quality keepers. We wound up with a real mixed bag of Porgies, Sea Bass, Mackerel and Triggerfish. Pool winners were Dimitrios Pallas of Ryan, PA with a 3.1 pound Scup and Maurice Bennett from Bristol PA with 4.7 pound Triggerfish.
