Mon Nov 11- Ultra Limited Blackfish/Sea Bass Special

Captain Steven Sr. reports a horrible day on the Viking Star.  Horrible for the fish…….great for anglers.  We started the morning Blackfishing. It was close to the end of the tide and we just kept steadily picking away at some quality Blackfish. Those Jersey boys……there were four of them………. brought 14 Blackfishon board between them.  They really showed us how it’s done.  Close to boat limit on keeper Sea Bass.  Even though not targeted on this special Veteran’s Day half price trip, we managed some keeper Cod as well. First place in the Blackfish pool went to one of those Jersey boys, Don Wetzel, from Riverdale, NJ with a 9.3 pound Blackfish.  First place in the Sea Bass pool went to Zhi Chun Wen of Brooklyn NY with a 4.4 pound Sea Bass.  A great day with beautiful weather and plenty of fish.  A special thanks to all our veterans that shared their special day fishing with the Viking Fleet.  Thank you!
