Sun May 16 – Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies

Capt Dave reports an okay day on the Viking Starlite. We made a bunch of moves because the fishing wouldn’t last for long in one spot. The size of the fish was good, but it was a slower pick than it has been. We also a a few Bluefish. The pool winner was Jose Reyes from the Bronx, NY with a 2 1/4 lb Porgy. We are fishing tomorrow morning at 5am. There is plenty of space on the boat, so come on out or make a reservation. The office opens at 4am for ticket sales. 631-668-5700 / vikingfleet.com
