Sat July 10- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports that they started the day up to the north were they anchored up to stay out of the remaining swells from yesterday’s bad weather. Fishing was very good and everyone caught plenty of Porgies. The Porgies we landed today were large with some Jumbos mixed in, as well as some quality Seabass. We moved to the lighthouse where fishing was tough today so we headed back north and ended the day with plenty more keeper Porgies and Seabass.  All in all a very good day of fishing was had onboard the Viking Starship. Randolph Mims of NY NY was today’s pool winner with a 2.4lb Porgy.
