Sat July 10- 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt. JR reports a slow morning on the Viking Star. Yesterday’s tropical storm definitely had an effect on today’s fishing. Action was a little slower than usual, however, we did manage to catch some nice sea bass and porgies with a few keeper fluke in the mix. The  Fluke pool winner was Ramsin from Littleneck NY with a 3.5lb Fluke. The edible pool was taken by Jim Carpenter of Port Jeff Station who landed a Bluefish also weighing in at 3.5lb.
