Tue Sept 12 to Thurs Sept 14 – 60 Hour Tuna/Mahi LTD

Capt J.R. reports a huge success on our first 60 Hour Tuna/Mahi trip of 2023. The night bite was pretty much nonexistent Tuna wise but we did land a nice 145 lbs. Swordfish and had a few break off. The day time chunk bite was a solid pick all day of 50-70 lb. Yellowfin with the biggest being 80 lbs. The anglers with Tuna fishing experience easily boated their limit. Other less experienced fisherman, who took the advice of captain and crew, all landed big beautiful Yellowfin Tuna. We ended the trip hopping around pots and catching a mess of Mahi to top off the coolers. A good time was had by all. There was no pool done on the boat this trip.
