Fri Sept 22 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. We picked up where we left off yesterday and had nice sized Porgies again with good sized Sea Bass mixed in. Limits were retained by all anglers. We also had a few Cod and Fluke today. Unfortunately none of the large Cod were in the pool. The first place pool winner was Ignacio Castillo from Queens, NY with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Lloyd Williams from New York, NY with a 4 lb Sea Bass. Unfortunately all fishing trips are cancelled for Saturday and Sunday due to the high wind expected.
