Sat Oct 28- Night Squid Jigging
Capt. Carl reports an overall slower trip tonight on the squid boat. We (again) caught them as soon as we anchored up and they bit pretty good for us with lots of Big tubes and some double headers coming for the first 2 hours. Buckets were filling up… but…then the tide went slack and the wind changed, which brought some dirty water and lots of sea weed. We made a move to try and find some cleaner water but it did not work out. We only found a pick of squid and they would come up in a squid/sea weed salad. As always, some anglers did better than others, and overall it was not a bad night, just slower than what we have been seeing.
Remember, we are extending our sailing times starting Wednesday , Nov 1 to sail from 6:30PM-1AM! We look forward to seeing you onboard!
