Thur Nov 2 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a very good day of fishing today on the Viking Star. We tucked ourselves in nice to the island and had ourselves a great pick of medium to jumbo Porgies with a few SeaBass mixed in. We also had a pick of Striped Bass in the shallow water, with 1-2 keepers and the rest were throwbacks. We later worked our way offshore and got most anglers their limit of large SeaBass and had a couple keeper Cod on the boat. Overall, good day of fishing. The pool winner was Peter Wong from Brooklyn, NY with a 2.7 lb Porgy. We are sailing for our Block Island Porgies and SeaBass again tomorrow at 5am , the ticket office will be open at 4am.
