Sat May 17 – Sunset Jigging Trip

Captain Carl reports a very successful Sunset Jigging trip on the Viking Star! The trip started off slow but, as the sun was setting, the bite turned on! The last half hour was very good fishing with all sizes of Striped Bass! We had some big size fish that were released, a few shorts that were released, and just 1 slot sized keeper Striped Bass under our boat limit! We also had a few Blues, Porgies, and Sea Bass (released).
There was no pool tonight. We will be sailing again tomorrow night (Sunday) at 5:30PM)
